Teaching at Newbattle Abbey College

From 2014 - 2016 I worked as a part-time lecturer at Newbattle Abbey College developing course material and delivering several units as part of an new National Certificate in Celtic Studies, SQA level 5.  The course is open to recent school leavers, and mature adults returning to education.

My taught courses included ‘The Heritage Industry in Scotland,’ Storytelling in the Celtic Tradition,’ and ‘Gaelic Music and Song.’ Several of my students went on to study full time degrees in Scottish Studies and Scottish Ethnology at the University of Edinburgh.
